Inspect the traction rod 55150-40P00 for bent shafts or seized eccentric bolts at the inboard mount, as these commonly seize due to road salt exposure. For installation, always replace the 30-year-old rubber bushings with polyurethane or fresh OEM; the upper control arm bushings particularly degrade from heat exposure. Torque the lower control arm bolts with the suspension at ride height to prevent bushing bind. If the donor had HICAS but your car does not, the knuckle geometry differs and will cause alignment issues. Check casting marks: Tokico-branded components indicate original equipment.
