When sourcing LATCH anchors for your 2011 BMW 528i F10, target 2010-2017 F10 sedan or F11 Touring models. The OEM anchors 72-11-7-202-921 (driver side) and 72-11-7-202-922 (passenger side) mount to the rear seat frame through the seat cushion bight. In the junkyard, remove the rear seat bottom by pulling forward sharply to release the spring clips, then inspect the 6mm diameter metal loops for deformation or cracks where child seat clips engage. These anchors interchange across all F10/F11 engine variants (N52B30, N55, N20) regardless of drivetrain. Installation requires threading the M8 bolts through the seat pan and torquing to 50 Nm using a torque wrench—critical for crash safety. Common failures include bent hooks from heavy cargo and missing plastic trim caps (order separately: 52-20-2-284-xxx). Avoid F07 Gran Turismo anchors unless verifying the mounting bracket angle matches your sedan's floor pan geometry.
