Quick reference
1989 model year has early/late production split that may affect connector pin count
LHD vs RHD applications reverse the 'front right' position (passenger vs driver side)
JDM Fairlady Z32 variants may have different connector keying
2+2 (four seater) door panels use different trim bezels though switch module is identical
Context
The passenger-side power window switch on Z32-generation Nissan 300ZX models commonly suffers from contact carbonization after three decades. When junkyard hunting, target 1990-1996 donor cars specifically—avoid 1989 models which used an incompatible early connector. The service replacement sequence runs 25411-30P10 → 25411-30P11 → 25411-30P12, with all versions plugging into the same five-pin door harness. To extract, remove the door panel's two Phillips screws hidden under the armrest cap, then slide the entire switch bezel upward to release the lower clips. Test the actuator button for sticky return action and inspect the plastic housing for heat distortion before purchasing.
