Always inspect the slide pin boots for tears—seized pins cause uneven pad wear and rotor scoring on these heavy Z32 platforms. Check the piston dust boot for brake fluid weeping indicating seal failure. During installation, replace the copper crush washers at the banjo bolt and torque to 18 ft-lbs.
