When hunting F10 5-Series fenders in the junkyard, target 2011-2016 BMW 528i, 535i, or 550i sedans—part numbers 41-35-7-274-729 and 41-35-7-271-343 interchange across the range regardless of N52B30 vs N55 engine. Inspect the upper mounting tabs where the fender meets the A-pillar; these crack easily during removal. Check the wheel arch lip for rust bubbling, common in salt-belt states. Verify antenna hole presence if your car has satellite radio—base models lack the punched hole. When pulling, remove the 8mm bolts along the top edge, the T40 Torx under the door hinge, and the 10mm fasteners in the wheel well. The side repeater lamp hole differs between US (amber) and Euro (clear) models, so match your market. F11 wagons and F07 GTs will not fit despite similar appearance.
